Cancellation and Refund Policy

A request is not a reservation

 

A rental request is not a confirmed reservation. Your reservation is confirmed only once JJ Modern Events LLC has approved the request and received the required booking payment or deposit. Before that point nothing is reserved, no payment is due, and you can withdraw your request at any time at no cost by calling, texting, or emailing us.

 

Cancelling a confirmed reservation

 

You may cancel a confirmed reservation more than 7 calendar days before the scheduled rental and receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the booking payment.

 

Within 7 calendar days of the scheduled rental, the booking payment becomes nonrefundable.

 

Reservations confirmed within seven (7) calendar days of the scheduled rental are nonrefundable upon confirmation.

 

Rescheduling

 

You may request one reschedule up to 24 hours before the scheduled rental, subject to equipment availability. Approved payments may be transferred to the new event date, which must fall within 12 months of the original reservation.

 

Reschedule requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled rental are not guaranteed and will be considered at the discretion of JJ Modern Events LLC.

 

A reservation may only be rescheduled once. Once a reservation has been rescheduled, all payments become nonrefundable. The refundable security deposit, if applicable, remains subject to the Damage & Deposit Policy.

 

Security deposits

 

A refundable security deposit, when required, is separate from the booking payment and is not part of it. The security deposit is returned after the equipment has been inspected, provided there is no damage, excessive cleaning, missing equipment, late return, or other charges permitted under the rental agreement. If we cancel

 

If JJ Modern Events LLC must cancel a confirmed reservation for a reason within its control, and we cannot provide comparable replacement equipment or a mutually agreed rescheduled date, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid for the affected rental items.

How refunds are issued

 

Refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible. Where a refund is due, it is issued in full — payment-processing fees are absorbed by JJ Modern Events LLC and are not deducted from your refund. Processing times vary by financial institution and payment provider.

 

How to cancel or reschedule

 

Call or text 941-499-7342, or email bookings@jjmodernevents.com. A cancellation or reschedule request takes effect when we receive it. Please don't assume it has been received until we reply.
