Delivery, Setup, Customer Pickup and Return Policy

JJ Modern Events rents event equipment locally in Cape Coral and the surrounding Southwest Florida area. We do not ship equipment and we do not use shipping carriers. Equipment is either delivered by us or collected by you.

 

Delivery availability and charges

 

Whether we can deliver to a location, and what delivery costs, depends on:

 

Where the event is and how far it is from us

The size of the order and the equipment involved

The date, day, and requested times

Access at the site, including parking, gates, stairs, distance from the vehicle to the setup area, and ground conditions

Whether setup and breakdown are included

 

Delivery is quoted with your booking. If a delivery charge applies, it appears on your invoice before you confirm.

 

Delivery and setup times

 

We schedule delivery, setup, and collection as time windows, not exact times. Traffic, weather, venue access, and the event before yours all affect timing. We will give you a window in advance and let you know if it changes.

 

Site access

 

Someone should be available at the site during the delivery window, and you are responsible for making sure we have safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the setup area at the scheduled time — see our Rental Terms and Conditions for what that involves. If we arrive and cannot access the site, cannot set up safely, or the area is not ready, we may need to reschedule, alter, or cancel the setup, and additional charges may apply.

 

Setup area

 

Tell us in advance about the surface the equipment will sit on, any slope, sprinklers, septic or utility lines, overhead wires or branches, and the distance from where we can park. Setup follows the instructions for each item, and we will not set up in a location we consider unsafe or unsuitable for that item.

 

Customer pickup

 

If you are picking up, we will confirm the pickup location and the pickup and return times with your booking. You are responsible for:

 

Arriving and returning within the agreed times

Bringing a vehicle suitable for the items, with anything needed to secure a load

Loading, transporting, unloading, and returning the items without damage

 

Please contact us as early as you can if you are running late. Items kept beyond the agreed return time may incur additional charges.

 

Return condition

 

All equipment — delivered or picked up — must be returned in the condition it was received, allowing for ordinary wear. Items should be dry, emptied, and clear of trash, food, and debris. Amounts may be charged for damage, missing items, or cleaning beyond ordinary cleaning under our Damage, Cleaning, Missing Equipment and Security Deposit Policy.

 

Collection after delivery

 

For delivered rentals, we return to collect during a scheduled window. Please make sure the equipment is accessible, that guests and pets are clear of it, and that it has not been moved from where we set it up.
