These terms apply to your use of jjmodernevents.com, operated by JJ Modern Events LLC, and to rental requests submitted through it. By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

 

Rental requests are requests, not orders

 

The Site does not take payment and does not complete a booking. Adding items to your rental list and submitting the Event Details form sends us a request. It does not reserve equipment, hold your date, or create a contract.

 

How a booking becomes confirmed

 

You submit a rental request.

We review it and check availability for your dates.

If your items are available, we send you an invoice along with payment or deposit instructions.

Your booking is confirmed only once we have approved the request and received the required payment or deposit, and you have received confirmation from us.

 

Until all of that has happened, nothing is reserved. We do not send an automatic confirmation email when a request is submitted, so if you have not heard from us, please contact us directly.

 

Pricing and availability

 

Prices, package contents, and availability shown on the Site are estimates for planning and may change until your booking is confirmed. The estimated total shown with your rental list does not include amounts that depend on your specific event — for example delivery, deposits, or applicable taxes and fees. The amounts on the invoice we send you are the amounts that apply.

 

Your information must be accurate

 

You agree to give accurate and complete information in your rental request and to tell us promptly if anything changes — including your event date and times, delivery address, venue, site access, and contact details. We rely on this information to quote, schedule, and deliver. Inaccurate information may lead to extra charges, a failed delivery, or cancellation.

 

Requests we may decline or cancel

 

We may decline or cancel a request or a confirmed booking where:

 

The equipment is not available for your dates

Conditions at the site are unsafe, or setup cannot be done safely

The information provided was inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading

The intended use is unlawful, prohibited under our Rental Terms, or unsuitable for the equipment

Required payment or deposit is not received

The Site or a request appears to be used fraudulently or abusively

 

Where we cancel, any refund is handled under our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

 

Using the Site

 

You may use the Site for your own personal or business event planning. You may not use it unlawfully, attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to it, scrape or copy it for a competing service, submit false or automated requests, or upload anything harmful.

 

Intellectual property

 

The Site's content — including text, photographs of our equipment and setups, layout, logo, and branding — belongs to JJ Modern Events LLC or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

 

Disclaimer

 

The Site is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every price, description, image, or availability indication is current or complete.

 

Limitation of liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, JJ Modern Events LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including lost profits or lost opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. This section applies to the Site and to rental requests made through it; liability relating to rented equipment is addressed in our Rental Terms and Conditions and in your rental agreement.

 

Third-party links

 

The Site links to third-party services and social media pages. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

 

Severability

 

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

 

Governing law

 

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

 

Changes

 

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one posted here, with the "Last updated" date shown above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
